Many American interiors have colored walls. As a European, I tend to go with white walls. Why, should you ask, since there are so many color palettes out there? Well, my philosophy is that if you put colors on all of your walls, you reduce yourself to limited expression on your accessories and furnitures, making the overall look feel blend, dull, convervative, and quite unoriginal.
So, when should you use colors? Color needs to be a statement. If you use it appropriately, on one accent wall of your room, color can be a furniture by itself and can change the entire look of your room. Lesson from the pros....

Best of all, when you have seen too much of a color, it is very easy to change the room, since you only have one wall to repaint. Happy painting!
