While in France, I was so shocked to learn about the Guerlain story. Have you heard? I know this blog is mainly about interior design, but stories like that make me so sick in my stomach, I have to vent...
Here is the pitch for those of you who haven't heard or read about it :
Jean-Paul Guerlain, 73, a descendent of the perfume house's founder, yes, THE famous Guerlain brand, was interviewed on French state TV last week, and asked about the creation of a new perfume, Samsara. He replied: "I worked like a nigger... I don't know if niggers have ever worked that hard, anyway."

Dozens of protesters wearing black crowded the sidewalk Saturday outside the Guerlain boutique in
Paris, France, calling for a boycott of the cosmetics company following racist remarks. The company is even said to be on the verge of a civil law suit.
Mr Guerlain, this one is for ya! I sure know that any Guerlain product will be blacklisted from my Christmas wish/ shopping list! Hell, I am even throwing my fabulous Terracotta powder in the trash can. Peace, Si-
